My Interest

My interest in video games commenced when I first got my hands on “Pokemon – Red” on the classic Game Boy handheld console. It was such an eye-opening moment being exposed to a “real” video game for the first time in my life. From there, I immersed myself in all forms of gaming across different platforms including PlayStation, PC, Mobile, and even the “imaginative” landscapes of pen & paper games. My fond memories of creating those intricate yet simplistic Pen & Paper RPGs during my elementary school years still linger inside my head, reminding me of where it all began.

Besides video games, basketball is probably one of the most influential games in my life, it molded me into who I am today. It was during middle to high school where I became obsessed with basketball, it is hard to convey how much I love this game even to this day. I was always down to play basketball any day, any time, be it a pickup game, school team, or charity league. Basketball instilled in me invaluable traits of grit, discipline, and teamwork. Every dribble and shot I practiced served as lessons in perseverance, shaping me into the person I am today.

After ~20 years of living in Bangkok, comes an interesting pivotal chapter of my life where I attended DigiPen Institute of Technology in Redmond, WA – a small town known only as the home of Microsoft and Nintendo. It was where I was able to meet many people with similar drive and passion that not only enhanced my productivity but also broadened my horizons and enriched my personal growth. Although my time at DigiPen has come to an end, my enthusiasm and hunger for knowledge in programming and game development only grow larger. “The more you know, the more you realize you don’t know”; the craving to explore the unknown in me only grows stronger. So whatever the future holds, I will continue to put in the work and strive to become the strongest version of myself.
